Terms of Service

The service

WhatsQR lets businesses publish photo and 3D menus or catalogues, print QR codes, count views, and optionally use Alert QR stickers. Public visitors can open a page by scanning a code. No diner account is required for a basic scan.

Accounts and verification

You must sign in with Google or an emailed code. There is no password. You are responsible for the mailbox you use.

We may ask for KYC documents before you can publish. We can refuse or suspend an account if documents are missing, misleading, or if the account is used to harm others.

Your content

You own the menus, photos, models, and copy you upload. You give WhatsQR a licence to host and display them so the product can work, including generating share images and QR pages.

You must have the right to use that content. Do not upload material you do not control.

Views and QR codes

A view is counted when someone opens a public product, menu, or catalogue page, subject to the abuse rules in the product (for example, dishes opened from an already-billed menu may not count again).

Approved merchants start with a demo view balance. When the balance is empty, public pages stay up but we may show that views are exhausted, as described in the product.

QR codes point at WhatsQR-hosted URLs. If you print them, keep the linked item published if you still want the code to work.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the service, scrape other merchants, upload malware, or use WhatsQR for unlawful content. Do not try to fake views or bypass metering.

Payments

View packs and other paid items are requested in the portal. Payment is completed through a link we send (Razorpay today). Prices on the site are tax-inclusive where we say so; the invoice shows tax.

Credits are applied after we confirm payment. Refunds follow the law that applies to the invoice entity. Unused demo views have no cash value.

Availability

We aim to keep WhatsQR available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features can change as we ship updates.

Liability

WhatsQR is provided as a publishing and metering tool. We are not a party to orders between a merchant and a diner. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data beyond our reasonable backup effort, or diner disputes.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting consumer rights you have in your own country.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms for later use.
